Compared
UER, ERR and COR
UER stands for uncorrected error. The card was printed with a mistake, such as a wrong stat, a misspelt name or another player's photo, and the maker never fixed it. Every copy has the same mistake.
| Code | Stands for | What it marks |
|---|---|---|
| UER | Uncorrected error | A mistake that was never fixed. Every copy has it. |
| ERR | Error | The mistaken version of a card that was later fixed. |
| COR | Corrected | The fixed version of that card. |
What it's worth
A mistake on every copy isn't a rarity
- One version, one print run. An uncorrected error is as common as any other card in the set.
- Two versions is different. Where a mistake was fixed part-way through printing, one of the two is usually harder to find.
- Where you'll see it. After the card number in checklists, price guides and listing titles: "#274 UER".
