In a listing
On a raw card, it's the seller's opinion
- In a slab, it's a grade. PSA 8 NM-MT on the label is PSA's own.
- On a raw card, it isn't. "NM-MT" in a listing for an ungraded card is the seller judging the condition.
- Every grade. The PSA scale has what a card has to look like for each grade, 10 to 1.
